王忻，满族，1957年出生于北京。擅长油画。1982年在中央美术学院油画系学习并获学士学位，现为中国戏曲学院舞台美术系教授、副系主任兼绘画教研室主任。其作品多次入选全国油画展，参加在日内瓦、法国、美国、日本的艺术大展，在泰国展出时获得金奖。^_^Born in Beijing. Graduated in 1982 from the Departmetn of Oil Painting of CAFA. Currently he is the professor and the vice director of the Department of Décor in Chinese Drama Institute. He is also the director of the painting studio. His art works has been attending lots of international art exhibitions，such as in France， USA， Japan. When his work was show in Thailand，which was awarded the Gold Prize.
